Mixing and matching stone throughout your home is a popular trend amongst designers and architects alike and can make for a more functional, visually appealing, unique, and budget-friendly design.
This home in Ormond Beach, Florida consists of both granite & quartz throughout the entire home featuring waterfall edges, custom cabinetry, shelving, a stone staircase & more.
Kitchen Countertops & Cabinets
In most homes, the kitchen island, where friends and family gather, is the main attraction. This is the place for a more luxurious, showy material to shine, like the beautiful Cambria Queen Anne quartz (as seen in the photos above). It features a velvety gray-marbled background, providing a calm canvas for elegant white streams that billow.
With a mixed-and-matched look, contrast and variation is key. With that said, don’t be afraid to design with more than one stone, countertop edge or cabinet color in mind. This quartz island with a waterfall edge, for example, is a great way to extend the beauty of the stone and add a modern sentiment to an otherwise traditional space.
The perimeter kitchen countertops are cut from Spectrum Quartz’ Pristine slab and help create a well-balanced look blending in beautifully with contrasting grey custom cabinetry.
Bar Countertop, Cabinets & Custom Shelving
A unique touch to any space would be to carry your quartz up to your walls. These custom quartz floating shelves not only help to continue the design of the bar vertically but provide a place to display favorite pieces in your home (or in this case, your best wine & spirits).
Bathroom Countertops, Cabinets & Shower Walls
Vanity bathroom tops must play the dual role of being durable and capable of standing up to water, soap & cosmetics while serving as an ample work surface for morning rush hour in the bathroom. This is no place for delicate, porous (easy-to-stain) surfaces.
The bathroom countertops seen in the images above are all cut from Spectrum Quartz’ Simplicity Powder slab and help create a well-balanced look blending in beautifully with contrasting grey Copenhagen style custom cabinetry.
Staircase
Stone is a very popular choice in designing a staircase. Specifically, quartz is so appealing because of its stain, scratch and heat resistant qualities which make it perfect for having as flooring in any room of your home. It’s easy to clean and maintain and can be produced in any size.
Grey Quartz was used to give our clients the modern stairscase they were longing for.
Movie Room Custom Countertops & Cabinets
Add elegance and utility to your home with custom home theater cabinets that equally function as storage and acoustically treating the room – creating the perfect movie watching experience.
Outdoor Kitchen Countertops & Cabinets
Granite countertops have long been a favorite surface material for kitchen countertops, thanks to its easy-care beauty and durability. It’s also become a hot trend for outdoor use, such as patio tables, outdoor kitchens, and bars. With many gorgeous granite colors, it’s much more stylish than concrete, which for years was the outdoor-surface standard. Piracema Granite was used for this outdoor kitchen countertop and paired perfectly with Nautilus Bahama style top graded weather proof outdoor cabinets.

Step 4: Behind The Scenes
Then we get to work!!
We’ll order your slab, cabinets, sink and backsplash and begin preparing them in our warehouse.
We’ll schedule a countertop templating appointment in your home once your cabinets are installed and any old countertops have been removed. A skilled technician will arrive to take the measurements. To measure, a high-intensity laser is pointed at the surface. (It’s really an incredible thing to watch!) This laser sends information to a computer, which records various points to create accurate and precise dimensions.
The technician will add in additional pertinent details, such as any overhangs, backsplashes, specialty cuts, cutouts for sinks and faucets or seams that need to be factored into the project. After this, the measurements are double-checked to make sure they are completely accurate.
Once the measurements are verified and saved, the computerized system sends them wirelessly to our fabrication facility. At the facility, the template is laid out on the stone’s surface. Following this, the stone can be cut using fabrication machinery, polished and prepared for installation.
Step 5: Installation
